Do's and Don'ts in restaurants...

Yesterday I went out to eat with my mom and son. We knew a waitress who was not waiting on us but had told our waitress to take good care of us and from time to time the girl we knew would come visit and chat a little with us. From the moment our waitress knew we knew the other girl she treated us very differently. The only time we saw our waitress was to greet us, give us our drinks/take order, give us our order, and then our check. In my opinion, I think customer service is key! I mean the girl is getting a tip and I am not sure if she thought our friend was getting it or if we did not deserve her attention. I was confused. I would look at her serve other customers next to us and she was peachy, smiley, really attentive...WHAT HAPPENED!!!! We were lucky if we got a smirk. I am not sure but as a customer I was annoyed and sadden that someone didn't want to give us the same attention, I mean I wanted a refill on my drink! ~Monique

DO NOT be rude to the staff! I always say that there are two kinds of people you do not anger: the ones working on your car and the ones in charge of your food! It is so difficult to work in customer service and restaurants are no exception. Every table is asking a million things of you and trying to remember all of them can be extremely difficult. If it takes a little bit longer than you'd like for your drink, think about everything else that person is doing. If your food comes out a bit wrong, just send it back! No need to throw a fit or be mean!--Kristina :)

1)Do show up to your reservations on time but if you must be late try not to be more than 15 minutes late
2) Do turn off cell phones because this can become quite the nuisance
3)Don't bring children if they are unable to cooperate in the given surroundings
4)Don't be rude when sending back any food.
5) Most importantly always give at least a 15-20% tip if the service was pleasant
